Toby Witte has been invited to speak at the School of Design at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg as part of the fall speaker series hosted by IDEAS - Interior Designers for Education and Sustainability.

Drawing from his award-winning book Supersizing Bliss, Toby will share lessons from his work designing modern, sustainable homes and explore how thoughtful design can create spaces that support happiness, wellbeing, and a richer everyday experience. His talk offers interior design students a broader perspective on the relationship between architecture, materials, light, sustainability, and the way we live.

Prior to his lecture, Toby will be available for a casual roundtable discussion. It will be held in the Burruss Hall material library at 11:15 a.m. This informal session offers students a chance to engage on a personal level and learn more about our firm and design philosophy.

Interior Designers for Education and Sustainability (IDEAS) is an active student-run organization at Virginia Tech tied to the School of Design's Interior Design program. It bridges academic learning and professional practice with a focus on sustainable and human-centered spaces.
